sketches

I often prefer an artist’s rough, unfinished studies and sketches over their polished paintings in museums. There’s something inherently human in imperfection. Most of what follows were sketched with a Pilot G-2 05 gel pen in a Moleskine notebook hunched over some bar in New York City.
